In Torsion - what are the different manoeuvre you do to Salvage the Testis ?

  If it is case of solitary good testis, try everything possible to salvage. Also if it is salvageable try almost in almost all cases... An attempt to manual detortion while patient & theater getting ready for operation. Manual detortion even if successful, can not replace surgery as both the testis need to fix to avoid future torsion. 1. Detort the testis. 2. Wrapp in warm, soaked gauze . One can proceed for fixation of opposite testis 3. If no improvement in 10 to 15 minutes Fasciotomy incision on tunica albugenia 4. If some improvement, proceed with tunica vaginalis flap in fasciotomy site 5. Put the testis in subdartos pouch without tension Thanks

  What immune response start with ischemic testis. What measure to prevent it and if it has already started then how to manage.
