Dear All,
It is important for us to understand the intricacies of Molecular and
Genetic aspects of development of BPH and P Ca. There are considerable scientific
Evidences to prove that both may have a common axis but still BPH cannot be
considered as a first step in the development of P Ca. The pathogenesis and
progression of BPH is significantly affected by Androgen Signalling, Imbalanced
Oxidative Stress and Microbial Infections. In P Ca the predominant factor
appears to be with Androgen Signalling but several Genetic alterations have
come to the fore. Some of these understandings have been made use for drug
developments.
This review gives us more than adequate informations concerning the role
played by various targets for the development of BPH and P Ca.

I must complement the authors of this review from Manipal Academy of
Higher Education (MAHE) for this timely overview on this complex subject.

01 Oct 2020 12:16:53 PMNice comprehensive literature review article for basic research workers on BPH and CA Prostate. To me this knowledge now has no practical application. But it is always good to know the progress in basic sciences to understand the technology / medication that will out of this knowledge in future
