Our preference for distal hypospadius particularly the subcoronal ones is Mathieu repair. It gives good functional as well as good cosmetic results in our experience.

I am attaching two images of distal hypospadias cases in whom I selected Mathieu repair, worked well.Seeking few more comments/suggestions form members in group.

Glandular or coronal meatus
Conical Glans
Deep Glans Groove
No Chordee
No tethering of perimeatal Skin to underlying uretrha
